The Center for Advanced Gastrointestinal (GI) Diseases is New Jersey’s foremost center for the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant tumors and other conditions of the GI system, including those affecting the pancreas, liver and bile ducts (hepatobiliary), stomach, esophagus, small intestine, colon/rectum, and appendix. Our Center offers patients a level of expertise that is usually found only at large academic medical centers, yet within the comfort of their own community and family.

The Daniel and Gloria Blumenthal Cancer Center is located at the Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion, One Valley Health Plaza, in Paramus, New Jersey.

The Center for Advanced GI Diseases is a major component of The Valley Hospital Daniel & Gloria Blumenthal Cancer Center. The Blumenthal Cancer Center is the only cancer center in the United States to have received six Gold Seals from The Joint Commission. Our Center also recently received a three-year accreditation with commendation from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Other Valley Hospital distinctions include a “Top Hospital” and Grade A in patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, 10 consecutive J.D. Power and Associates awards for “Outstanding Inpatient Experience,” and 11 disease-specific recognitions (including cancer care) from The Joint Commission.
